Dr. Sandrine Rival
Partner DO-HEALTH – Management
Dr Sandrine Rival: PhD in biochemistry (1996). She has expertise in protein biochemistry and biotechnology and served as a researcher in international research institutes and a biotech. She works as a consultant at NOVAMEN and her specific responsibilities are setting up of public-private partnerships; definition of the scientific programs; establishment of the budgets, assistance to scientific coordinators in the day-to-day management of their project.
NOVAMEN a brand of ACIES Consulting Group specializes in collaborative research management. NOVAMEN covers the promotion, organisation and management of Research and Innovation with a particular focus on the European Commission Framework Programs. NOVAMEN has a proven track record in the design, implementation and the management of complex and large European research programs. NOVAMEN is currently management Partner in 14 FP7 projects, e.g. in the Health theme: TransCard, RESOLVE, CUT’HIVAC, MODHEP, DARTRIX, IMAGINT, SPIDIA.
As a DO-HEALTH partner, the NOVAMEN team composed of Dr. Sandrine Rival and Mathilde Monges, supported the preparation of the DO-HEALTH proposal in regulatory EC procedures and guidance on the EC Framework 7 grant format at the design, context, budget, private-public partnership and budget level. Further, during the course of DO-HEALTH NOVAMEN assists the Coordinator and the Management team at the University of Zurich. NOVAMEN will support day-to-day handling of the partners requests, will maintain partner specific templates for collecting input to the required EC documents, will control the timetable for collecting input to the required EC documents, will support the preparation, execution and post-processing of major project meetings (tasks: agenda, invitations, minutes and action lists), and will assist the implementation of Consortium Agreement and to administrative handling of IPR-or legal-related issues.
